Yes, FAAR has rules, which do have concequenses for disobeying them. So don't do it.

You don't "have" to read these rules. You could go straight to the character-making board and make a character, then start roleplaying. But you wouldn't know the rules, what you should and shouldn't be doing, etc. So we suggest you do read them, for your own sake and ours. (No, we don't find punishing fun.)

ALSO, there are no such things as 'cats' here at FAAR. Both the Crows and the Ravens call themselves RALUKIANS. Hence the site name. Please remember that, and do not put the word 'cat'. Use 'Ralukian'. Also, the world is not called 'Earth'. It is called 'Ralukia'. (Ralukian without the 'n'.) You can say "Her claws dug into the soft earth", but you cannot say "Where on Earth?" It'd be, "Where on Ralukia?" Just so you know. =D

001.x Treat other members the way you want to be treated. Be respectful and nice, and know that everyone else will be respectful and nice to you. No bad-mouthing other members, as we do not tolerate stupid behaviour and you will be punished.

002.x Swearing is aloud IN ROLEPLAY. Do not think you'll get out if swearing ooc just because you're more active and helpful than other members. The only swearig ooc aloud is for cases where you fill in a sentance. e.g. "The whole cuss thing," or, "What the cuss was that?"As for in-character swearing, don't get carried away. Every sentance shouldn't be a swear, no questions asked. Swearing like you've never swore before will result in a, for the least, three day ban.

003.x NEVER, EVER speak a racial or sexist on this site. It's cruel, mean, and will result in immediant account ban. If you continue, your account will be deleted, and an IP ban will be put up. It is of the utmost rudeness to others, so none will ever be written onto this site. It's just stupid.

004.x Do not steal, do not say you did something when you didn't. That's all there is to it. Always ask permission when you are going to use another member's things, and never call it your own. Period. Also, stealing from the SITE (codes, banners, imformation, ideas, etc.) is also not allowed. You WILL be reported.

005.x No spamming. It's stupid, pointless, and annoying. "Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages", no? We require more mature people on this site. Also, no double posting. If you want to put more information on your post, sure, go ahead, click "Modify Post", but don't double post. Unless you finish the word limit, which I don't think anyone will do.

006.x No one likes large siggys. So do not make yourself one. The largest should be at 400 width, and 300 height. Any bigger and it'll "magically" disappear. (Note the quotation marks.)

007.x Posts must have at least 200 words. NO questions asked. It's the minimum. If you're having a bad day, with no muse, just say that. Don't do an extreamly short post which no one can reply to. No fun. Also, used "quotation marks" when characters are speaking. "Hello, stranger, what are you doing?" Doesn't take much, does it? OOC must be placed before or after the rp post, don't do it within. It's annoying and stupid.

008.x Every six months, there will be a switch. The leaders of both Clans will become normal Clan ralukians, while the Co-Leader, or a Council member of the former leaders choice, gets picked to be the new leader. Then, with a discussion with a staff or two, the new leaders will pick a new Co-Leader/Council member. Someone who has been leader once cannot again, unless all ralukians have been leader.

009.x Do not powerplay, and do not godmode. Powerplayers are characters who control another member. This happens mostly in battle. "Raven sprung at Crow, slashing at his face," is powerplaying, "Raven sprung at Crow, ready to slash at his face with outstreched claws," is not. The second one gives the person who plays Crow to choose if he dodges or not. A character may only dodge four times in a row. Godmodng is when the character is all powerful, unable to be hit, able to kill a whole gang of ralukians alone, and leave with only a few scratches. No, we don't want it. So don't do it.

010.x You may only have up to four characters. There are no excuses. Some people will be granted a fifth ralukian, for plot purposes, but they will die in the end. The only other way to get a fifth ralukian is to be active, literate, win the staff over, so we can trust you with your extra ralukian, and you're not going to do anything stupid with them. Also, if your character dies, you are allowed to make a new one. Dead ralukians will be used for plots in the future. (Each character will be played on seperate accounts.)

011.x No strange colours. No green and pink and bright blue ralukians. We will accept red fur, eyes, and blue-purple eyes, but everything else has to be able to happen in real life. We might use weird colors for plots...but, seriously, we're trying to be a realistic site. Although you are allowed markings, like a loveheart or skull, but don't get carried away and stick markings everywhere. Also, ralukians are allowed to have collars, but that's all. No other accessories are allowed.

012.x To go with the rule above, no deformities in the ralukians. Two headed, six legged, four eared ralukians are not allowed. We have having normal ralukianss, with one head, two eyes, four legs, one tail, etc. Ralukians with wings, scales, can control fire etc. are not permitted, but might be included in future plots, though, so stay tuned.

013.x All high-positioned characters (leaders, Council, co-leader, healer, gifted) MUST be active. If you don't come on the site for a week, without leaving a note on the leaving board, your position will be given to someone else. No exceptions.

014.x Ralukians cannot choose their apprentice, and Half-Ranks and Trainees cannot choose their mentor. That is for the Leader to choose, unless stated otherwise. If both the Half-Rank/Trainee and Warrior/Fighter want to be together, talk to your leader about it.

015.x Having mates is allowed. Breeding and Force-breeding is also allowed, but both members have to agree on it before doing so. Grapic-ness is allowed, although discouraged, so warn everyone in the title of the board that it will be grapic. (like [R rated] or something.) Also, put wether it is private or not, and, if it is, who may enter.

016.x Ralukians are allowed to have kits, although it is rare. An admin will choose who plays the kit, with some help from the parents's players. A she-ralukian must be pregnant for two weeks before having her kits, and kits cannot speak or run around until they are a week old (in our time). Also, ralukians must be older than fifteen moons to breed and have kits.
